;-) Yes, I know it's a little pretentious the title of my post. How can I expect to end the bloody effusion drips from 1948-1967? Who am I to discern solution even when high-level diplomats have failed again and again to try to pacify the conflict?
I just want to reflect very seriously and internalize the following passage from the life of Mahatma Gandhi: Gandhi
was prostrate, nearly dies, in one of his many hunger strikes protesting this time because there were bloody battles in the streets, between Muslims and Hindus ...
Then came before him, a man completely desperate because he had killed a child of the opposite faction. He had made full of hate because, before the opposing faction had killed his own child.
He could not hold back the tears in his torment and asked him to Gandhi:
How I can get out of this hell?
To which Gandhi replied:
Welcomes an orphaned child of the opposite faction and love her as your own son, y. .. make sure you educate according to the religion and customs of your enemies.
He at first did not understand ... but after a moment's hesitation, the man fell on his knees before Gandhi.
I saw this scene in the last movie (I think) about the life of this great man. I was very impressed ...
I think the idea of \u200b\u200bGandhi is just a seed in its most primal. But, still, can not hide all his power.

Why do wars happen? What turns people into mass murderers?
Please, let's get together this situation and do little thought experiment ... (Which unfortunately is happening in many parts of the world, with all its ugly forms) ...
I consider myself a pacifist, but if suddenly opened the roof of my house and fell a bomb that would kill my family (children, wife) and I was unharmed ... So my current status human drag me to become a murderer. I would not care a damn arm myself to the teeth and go to kill those who killed my family (the generic enemy, country, nation, race, religion, whatever, I would like).
This is what I dictate my present human condition. And frankly, I doubt that it could avoid. See your children die (even if only one) you have to leave 'marked' forever with the stigma of the worst hatred.
But what if, suddenly, and even in these harsh circumstances, I refused to fight and welcome in my home to an orphaned child of my enemies, and would like as my own son, and you give the eduacion according to the rites and customs of my enemies? ...
What would happen (and Mahatma Gandhi knew that) is that I have transcended the human condition today (my sad human condition today), to become 'something else' that many have been waiting and that some predict will happen during this century. Carbonell Eudal anthropologists as defined or intuit it as "yet we are not human '(title of one of his books).

Imagine that one day it dawns on the Gaza border. All television cameras are ready, because there will occur a rebirth for humanity ...
A Palestinian who lost their children under Israeli bombs walks toward the line, to reach it, it stops. An Israeli who lost their children under Palestinian bombs walks to meet and embrace ... Even in their respective hell hug, cry, kiss and forgive ...
politicians are not expensive suit. They are people living in real hell, true. And the cameras around the world capture all details of this great moment.
... All its nuances, all its emotion ...
Then, a woman who has lost his entire family under fire Palestinian walks toward the line, to meet another woman who has lost his entire family under Israeli shrapnel ... And, again, hug, kiss and forgive ...
And so ... again and again ...
I can assure you that such an event would be one of the largest in the history of mankind, and would be remembered forever and ever as one of the key moments in human evolution.
Billions of eyes that would look and admire the rapt ...
Just when the world's television offering these images ... Well presented and well documented ...
At that very moment (and forever)
All wars in the world would stop.
All wars in the world would stop.

And even Jupiter would be needed to enter burning as recounted Arthur C. Clarke in his fantastic Odyssey 2 '2010 '.
Because the light that we have to bring that change is not in Jupiter, is within ourselves ...
